Insta-Teaser - Next Day Wedding Highlight: Jennifer + Luke
Sometimes at Gingerbread Productions, we are asked to create a film the very next day. As our aim is to be at one-hundred percent with our couples on their wedding days, it's very rare that we will accept a job for the day after or before one of our wedding bookings; in fact, at the time of writing, we have always refused to do so: our aim is to be yours and provide you with an outstanding service that is worthy of your wedding day. Therefore, when a couple asks for an Insta-Teaser for their Instagram or Facebook account, we are often able to oblige! This was the case with Jennifer and Luke, as I outlined our Insta-Teaser service to them, believing it would be a great addition to their package due to Jennifer's mass following on Instagram. As an inspirational person, the winner of Miss Slinky 2017 and a Slimming World Magazine Cover Girl, the Insta-Teaser service was a great way for Jennifer to share some highlights of her wedding day: we always try to tailor our packages to our clients' needs, so in whatever way we can help, let us know!
Stunning North West Wedding Venue: Ashfield House
Whenever I have the opportunity to film at Ashfield House, I am always filled with excitement! As a relaxed, picturesque, award-winning venue, it has to be up there with the finest of choices of wedding venues for couples in the North West of England, if not, the whole country! Therefore, it's no surprise that Jennifer jumped at the opportunity to have her wedding day at Ashfield House, despite having just six weeks to prepare! Nevertheless, Jennifer and Luke performed miracles to create an amazing day for their guests within a perfect setting. As each of their interviews showed (Part One / Part Two), Jennifer and Luke deserved the perfect backdrop for their wedding day as much as any other bride and groom; thankfully, the weather decided to behave itself too!
The Wedding Day
As the day began, Jennifer's family members and bridesmaids enjoyed a wonderful start to the day in one of Ashfield House's beautiful bridal suites, whilst Luke and his Best Man enjoyed a relaxed start to the day in their very own suite on the other side of the grand, winding corridor. Soon, it was time for their wedding ceremony to take place. Jennifer had the idea of showing a video to her guests through the use of a large screen at the front of the ceremony hall, which was provided by the brilliant Chris Cooper of DFC Lancashire, who also entertained guests expertly throughout Jennifer and Luke's wedding day. As the video played, Jennifer and Luke's guests watched, both teary-eyed and filled with laughter, as heartfelt and hilarious moments of their lives together transpired on film. Once the film had finished, guests were instructed to, 'Turn around...' to see Jennifer walking down the aisle with her mum and dad at her side. As their loving guests watched intently, Jennifer and Luke tied the knot after twelve loving years together.
Next Day Insta-Teaser
Following a good thirty-minutes or so after their First Dance together as man and wife, I journeyed home. I often stay for a while following the first dance, as a short amount of my extra time can lend so much more to our couples' wedding highlight videos. Having imported all of their audio files and footage, I got to work on piecing together their wedding story, whilst their files backed up to my server. Following a short sleep, I awoke to continue working on their Insta-Teaser, finding Jennifer and Luke's wedding story in amongst the heartfelt words they'd shared for one another during their speeches. Finally, around 4pm the next day, I was finished. Jennifer and Luke's beautiful Insta-Teaser of their wedding day at Ashfield House is located below.
