Rico + Abbie // Hidden River Barn

Together since primary school, Rico and Abbie were childhood sweethearts. Then, disaster struck: Rico and Abbie were placed in separate forms!
Thinking it could no longer work, Rico dumped Abbie!
However, after realising being in separate forms wasn’t the end of the world, Rico’s “scintillating” chat up line saved their relationship and culminated in one of the most fun weddings that I’ve ever captured.

As a budding filmmaker, I was taught to, “Touch the Heart to Move the Mind.” It has been my philosophy ever since.
This approach to filmmaking has led to many great opportunities, and has taken me all over the world. My greatest achievement was writing and creating a film for a FTSE 100 company in Japan.

I use the same approach with the wedding films I create.
Using a tele lens that observes moments from afar, my focus is to capture moments unobtrusively, and to tell your story in a way that will live with you for the rest of your lives.

My wedding videography collections are wrapped up into three different collections to suit each clients’ needs. With all day filming as standard, using three small Canon cinema cameras for the Ceremony and Speeches, you can rest assured that there isn’t a videographer in the country who is offering this level of quality or reliability. I have shot over 200 weddings across the UK, Europe, North America and Asia. With glowing 5 star Google Reviews, and being the North West’s Highly Commended Wedding Videographer at The Wedding Industry Awards (TWIA), 2026, I like to believe that I offer the best to each of my clients. Drone services come as standard in each of my packages. Story is made up of four elements: People, Places, Plot and Purpose. In order to tell your story as well as possible, I will dedicate myself to ensuring these 4 principles of storytelling are covered perfectly in your wedding films. When it comes to Place, there isn’t a finer tool than a drone, which is why I’ve invested so heavily in my aerial tools and qualifications. I use a DJI Mavic 4 Pro for my weddings, which I’m fully insured and covered to use. This drone has a 6K sensor that is capable of delivering cinema level imagery. I use a drone that is 4 times heavier than what most wedding videographers are using today. This ensures my drone stays true even in high winds, ensuring you receive aerial images of exceptional quality.

Collections are extremely competitively priced, starting as low as £1,995 for North West based weddings within an hour of Liverpool. Each collection then has a small price bump to pay for the time I will spend editing your final films. With three collections to choose from, I believe everyone will find a collection that suits their requirements. Clients typically spend between £2K to £3K on their Collections – less than my drone cost to purchase – so I honestly feel that it’s an extremely fair price.

If speed is of the essence to you, I offer an InstaTeaser, which is an 89 second film delivered within 7 days of your wedding day. This won’t be pieced together over a couple of hours. I’ll personally block book 5 working days to ensure that your InstaTeaser is the greatest memento of your wedding day with a narrative-driven edit to tell your wedding story as well as possible. As for the rest of your films, they’ll follow in the coming months. I always say to each of my clients, “I’m not McDonald’s”. You’re not paying me for a product that you could purchase at a drive thru – you’re investing in me to create a timeless film( or films), that are worth waiting for. I meticulously craft every film to ensure you can cherish them forever.

I think that I provide each of my clients with peace of mind due to my vast experience of covering all types of weddings across the North West of England and further afield. I’ve shot weddings in London, Dubai, USA (NYC, LA and Ohio), along with weddings across Europe. I’ve filmed Hindu weddings, mixed-faith weddings, Christian weddings, barn weddings, hall weddings… you get the picture. Ultimately, it’s my experience that counts with great time keeping skills to ensure that all of your event is captured as perfectly as possible. No other videographer that I’m aware of is shooting with three cinema cameras for weddings, a Leica for detail shots and a Mavic 4 Pro drone for aerial shots.
