Cinematic Wedding Highlight Films by North West Wedding Videographer

A relatively new package introduced to offer clients a shorter, more shareable wedding film, the Cinematic Wedding Highlight film usually stems between 5-7 minutes. Similar to its bigger brother, the Cinematic Wedding Highlight film offers the same story-driven narrative, but uses shorter cuts and less clips to piece together your wedding day. This creates a faster paced edit, and can be a great addition to the Feature Film, or can also be used as a standalone if 5-7 minutes is more of your thing!

Less is More: Hit Replay

Though our Cinematic Wedding Highlight Films are shorter, and therefore contain less moments than our Feature Films, they encapsulate your day using the best shots and the best memories. Arguably, you’re more likely to watch them on repeat because they’re much more digestible in a shorter space of time. Still using an emotional, narrative-driven structure, our Cinematic Wedding Highlight Films take you on a journey of emotion through your wedding day in a short space of time. Instead of focusing on every moment from every part of your wedding day, the focus shifts to one or two moments from that particular part of your wedding day. In that sense, you don’t miss a beat. These films are much more watchable for the distant family member or friend who wants a peek into your wedding day, but doesn’t necessarily want to sit with you for 25 minutes to re-live it in its entirety.

In the Pipeline: More Wedding Highlight Films to Come!

As the Cinematic Wedding Highlight Film package was only introduced in 2019, I have yet to edit many of them, as the people who have booked this package have yet to have their wedding days. Nonetheless, you can see a short film that I made for Finn and Emma below, who wanted a short film to share for their family members at Christmas time in 2018 (what sparked the new package), as well as my first Cinematic Wedding Highlight film of Fay and Mark’s wedding day.

Finn + Emma’s Wedding at St George’s Hall and the Royal Birkdale Golf Club

Finn and Emma’s wedding day at St. George’s Hall in Liverpool, and later at the Royal Birkdale Golf Club was one to remember. A stunning couple, both inside and out, Finn and Emma shared an equally beautiful moment at Formby Beach. With sights suited to a destination wedding, and a love surrounding the popular Australian soap, Neighbours, Finn and Emma’s love story is not to be missed.

Fay + Mark’s Wedding Day at Stirk House, Clitheroe

Fay has an interesting story, similar to that one of Slimming World’s Miss Slinky, Jennifer Ginley-Hagan, whose wedding I filmed in 2017. In the same year, Fay won Slimming World’s Woman of the Year, and following Jennifer’s recommendation, I had the pleasure of filming Fay and Mark’s wedding in 2019. Unfortunately, the weather was unkind, and it rained throughout. Nevertheless, Fay and Mark made the most of it, and we all had an amazing day celebrating their love for each other.
