North West Wedding Videographer
Welcome to Gingerbread Productions! Here, we craft wedding videos that capture the essence of your wedding day: the words; the looks; the people; the laughter; the love; all of these ingredients are mixed together to create a modern wedding video that tells your story of the day. Whether that's the words shared in a heartfelt speech, or the reading of a loved one, we carefully digest your wedding day as a guest, then re-tell your story from our perspective. No wedding day should be left to fading memories, which is why we also edit your full ceremony, speeches and first dance for you too. Check out some of the stories of our couples' wedding days below, then learn more about us, our packages and get in touch! We look forward to hearing from you!
North West Wedding Video: Jennifer + Luke
Jennifer and Luke were married within the grounds of one of our favourite North West wedding venues, Ashfield House, Standish. Together for twelve years after meeting on a school trip at the tender age of fifteen, this lovely couple welcomed me into their own home for interviews (Part One / Part Two) mere days before their wedding took place. Leaving the room when it was the other's turn, Jennifer and Luke shared their hearts openly with me, as they discussed different aspects of their relationship, including their first kiss in a local park. Jennifer had already mentioned to me that they used to kiss there, and so we went to the park to re-capture the events that had taken place twelve years earlier. As Jennifer is quite short in comparison to Luke's tall stature, a wall used to come in handy to help her to reach Luke when she kissed him. I won't spoil the video for you, but I'm glad to see that some things never change!
During their wedding day, Jennifer and Luke each spoke beautifully about one another during their vows and speeches. Plenty of 'Oohs' and 'Ahhs' were made following their carefully chosen words for one another, and I'm sure that their wedding highlight video will receive the same response when their audience listen to the words that they share for one another. Thank you Jennifer and Luke for selecting me as your videographer - long may you share a love like this.
North West Wedding Video: Josh and Steph
The story of Josh and Steph is one to behold. Pastor, Josh and graphic designer, Steph, both married under truly romantic circumstances, but we won't spoil the revelations made by Josh in his speech at the beautiful North West wedding venue, Garstang Golf Club. Saying their vows under the lights of the fantastic Fulwood Free Methodist Church, Preston, Josh and Steph's wedding day is one to be remembered for years to come!
Oliver and Melissa's North West Wedding Video
Oliver and Melissa were married in the beautiful, welcoming church of St Mary's in Mellor, before heading across to the stunningly-renovated, North West Wedding venue, Midland Hotel, Morecambe. During the bridal prep, it was obvious that the Father of the Bride couldn't contain his emotions, as Melissa expressed her gratitude for her upbringing and love that she had received. This 'hayfever' continued to plague the Father of the Bride throughout Melissa and Oliver's wedding day, as he spoke beautifully about them throughout his speech. Melissa and Oliver's wedding was filled with joy and surprises throughout. With an amazing set from The Ragamuffins during their evening celebrations, Melissa and Oliver's family and friends partied the night away overlooking Morecambe Bay. Working alongside the amazingly talented North West wedding photographer, Lottie of Johnny Draper Photography, I thoroughly enjoyed working with Melissa and Oliver and would like to thank them once again for selecting me as their wedding videographer.
Wedding Video: Martin and Jen
Jen and Martin tied the knot in a unique humanist ceremony at Blackburne House Group, Liverpool, which was beautifully sequenced with the help of the fantastic Maxine Beech Ceremonies. Following a tour of the nearby sights, Jen and Martin joined their loving family and friends at the stunning OH ME OH MY, which treated guests to first class service and a delicious afternoon tea dessert! Fantastic North West wedding photographer, Andrew Keher Photography, covered this unforgettable day, and I would like to thank Andrew for his vision and free spirited wedding photography, which is easy to recommend. Live music was provided by the wonderfully talented New Power Soul Club, and was appreciated by all who were present during their ceremony and evening celebrations. Best wishes and thanks to Jen and Martin, as well as their family and friends, who provided lots of fun and laughter throughout their wedding day too!
Jade and Jonathan's North West Wedding Video
A spectacular day of celebration and partying commenced for this wonderful couple at the top of Parbold Hill, Wigan. Jade and Jonathan tied the knot inside Christ Church, before venturing across to the church's field for an event that guests will never forget. With fire, marshmallows, BBQ food, an ice cream truck and four tents, this playful wedding event was filled with fun activities, yet nothing could steal away the spotlight from the love that was witnessed between Jade and Jonathan - though the amazing Boomin' Band came close! With wonderful father of the bride and groom speeches, Jade and Jonathan's North West Wedding Video is one to watch! This North West Wedding Videographer could not have been happier to share in the events that took place that day - very fortunate to have such wonderful couples! This wedding was topped off by working with the fabulously talented North West Wedding Photographer, Zoe Lyon Farrant (Green Iris Photography). Congratulations to the happy couple!
North West Wedding Video: Dave and Laurin
Filled with love and laughter between their friends and family, Dave and Laurin's wedding day was a memorable occasion for all. Inseparable since meeting in Nexus, a night club in St. Helens, Dave was reeled in by Laurin (quite literally), and the rest, as they, is history.
This stunning North West wedding was filmed at The Venue at the Royal Liver Building, Liverpool. With entertainment from the massively talented Lancashire wedding singer, Alex Birtwell, dance routines were aplenty throughout the afternoon and evening. Photography was up to the talented and easily recommendable North West Wedding Photographer, WF Photo (William can be found at WFPhoto.co.uk), while the stunning hair was crafted by the lovely and gifted hairdressers at Lois Jane, Liverpool. With such vibrant and colourful Flowers by Jemma Holmes, Gingerbread Productions had the most amazing day shooting Dave and Laurin's wedding, and would like to thank their friends and family for being such great sports - and for giving me lots of entertainment throughout (including pulling funny faces at my camera!).
